Corruption Common wealth games, CWG - CBI raids Suresh Kalmadi after 2 months

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday raided the residences of Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee chief Suresh Kalmadi and his personal secretary Manoj Bhure in New Delhi and in Pune in connection with alleged irregularities in the conduct of the Games.

The raids began at about 7 a.m. this morning when ten CBI sleuths simultaneously entered both the premises.

A team of CBI official conducted raids at his residence in New Delhi for almost eight hours and seized several documents, two laptops and some central processing units.

The CBI also raided at Kalmadi's residence in central Mumbai.

CBI officials also raided his residences and offices in Pune along with his brother's house in Mumbai. The investigating agency is also questioning his personal secretaries Manoj Bhore, Vinod Surve and Shekhar.

The CBI also raided the residence of Kalmadi's personal secretary PS Manoj Bhore in Pune.

Few days back CBI has requested the congress government to remove Kalmadi and his aide Lalit Bhanot from the CWG Organizing Committee.

Charges against Suresh Kalmadi:

Financial irregularities in Queen's Baton in UK

Doctoring e-mails from Indian High Commission

Buying equipment like treadmills well above market price

Signing marketing contracts with huge commissions

Allowing CWG budget to balloon out of proportions

At the time of CBI raids, Kalmadi was enjoying tea with his visitors.
Raids that lasted eight hours at his houses in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune didn't seem to affect Suresh Kalmadi's
If common mans home is raided you can understand what will happen with him.
In which situation any person will become fearless and he does not fear or care what CBI or investigating agency is doing.

What is the use of search and raids after two months, no criminal personal will keep the theft money or black money at home, when he knows that soon his home will be raided.

Just ask yourself if the jewellary thief knows that police will visit his home this week or next week what the thief will do?

What an excited moment of interview to media reporters by A. RAJA before, and KALMADI after CBI inquiry. Just like a experience of " HONEY MOON TRIP ", as if everything is taken care by Family Elders [big bosses ].
