Supreme Court upholds British Raj Rule Section 377 legal Gays are criminals

Supreme Court upholds British Raj Rule Section 377 legal Gays are criminals

Section 377 (unnatural offences) of the IPC makes gay sex a criminal offence entailing punishment up to life term.

In a historic judgement Delhi High Court had decriminalized gay sex.

The Delhi High Court had on July 2, in 2009 decriminalized gay sex as provided in Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and had ruled that sex between two consenting adults in private would not be an offence.

Senior BJP leader BP Singhal, who died in October last year, had challenged the high court verdict in the Supreme Court saying such acts are illegal, immoral and against the ethos of Indian culture.

After that Religious minded people social and religious organizations filed an appeal in  Supreme Court making gay people criminal people who will be sent to jail for life

Now Supreme Court of India gave verdict that it is for legislature to look into desirability of deleting section 377 of IPC with this verdict it has set aside the Historic verdict given by High Court of Delhi

There is no constitutional infirmity in section 377 of IPC which makes gay sex an offence punishable with upto life imprisonment.

In Supreme Court government accepted that the anti-gay law in the country had resulted from British colonialism and the Indian society was much more tolerant towards homosexuality.

A bench of justices GS Singhvi and SJ Mukhopadhaya delivered the verdict

The judgement was pronounced by Justice Singhvi on his last working day as he will be retiring tomorrow.

The above Judgement is the victory of people who still want to live in a British Raj Era live in Lal Batti era

This judgement clearly shows once again India is limited democracy with works as per the desires of Danda of people that is political parties

Now India needs to scarp the contempt of law rule which prohibits Indian citizens to criticize the judgement of Supreme Court of India

Sex is natural and fundamental need of human beings how can Supreme Court of India and politicians make it punishment by giving a life a term

Zero stars for Judgement

This day will be remembered as Black day for Indian History
