AAP asks clarification on 17 Points from BJP Congress seeks 10 days to decide on Gov. Formation

Arvind Kejriwal met the Lt. Governor of Delhi today and asked for 10 days time to get clear, unambiguous answers from BJP & Congress, who have been saying different things to different people.

AAP has sent letters, both to Sonia Gandhi Ji (Congress) & Rajnath Singh Ji (BJP) asking them to clarify their stand on 17 issues, created by their previous governments.

There is nothing like "unconditional support". People of Delhi want a stable government which can only be given when the stand of each party, who claim to support or act as a responsible opposition, clear. Completely clear.

We request these leaders to state their position, unambiguously, on these 17 issues (the same that we promised the people of Delhi) and make them available to the country.

That will enable the people of Delhi to understand where everyone stands on these and if a stable government can be formed. These 17 issues include

1.
Will they support the strong Lokayukta formation in Delhi

2.
CAG audit of Electricity companies and strict action if any are found guilty

3.
Reduction of electricity tariffs

4.
Coming down heavily on the water mafia including arrests & jail, to allow this stolen water to be available in Delhi.

5.
Review of the electricity meters

6.
Complete statehood for Delhi

7.
And others that directly affect the citizens of Delhi.

AAP stands completely for accountability.

We want those who claim to provide unconditional support or be a responsible opposition to demonstrate accountability too.

Its time for them to walk the talk.

List of 18 Issued or Questions Raised by AK to Congress and BJP

1.
The VIP culture should be stopped in Delhi. No MLA, minister or Delhi official will use a red beacon on their cars. Neither will they live in big bungalows nor take any special security.

2.
Passing of the Janlokpal Bill, the same version for which Anna Hazare held fasts.

3.
People will take decision directly in 'mohalla sabhas', which will be held in every locality and colony.

4.
The AAP demanded complete statehood status for Delhi. Central government's hold on DDA and Police should end.

5.
The party also demanded a special audit of all electricity companies in the national capital from the time these were privatised. The companies that refuse to participate, their licenses should be cancelled.

6.
Electricity meters should be checked.

7.
There is 220 litres of water available for every person daily. Where is it?.

8.
AAP wants unauthorised colonies should be regularised. Thirty percent of Delhi's population lives in such colonies and these should be regularised.

9.
The party demnded to know if the Congress and the BJP will support its decision to give clean and affordable 'pakka houses' (built up houses) to those living in slums.

10.
It also sought their support to give regular jobs to those working on contractual basis.

11.
It wants to give infrastructural facilities like roads, electricity, water and basic facilities to the ordinary trader.

12.
AAP said it is against FDI in retail.

13.
The party wants to provide facilities and subsidies to farmers in the villages in the national capital.

14.
The party also demanded to know the Congress and BJP's stand on opening 500 government schools, stopping donations in private schools and making the fee system transparent.

15.
The party said it wanted to open new government hospitals with better facilities.

16.
It also wants to have special security units for women and wants all harassment cases to be tackled within three months.

17.
It wanted to set up more courts and appoint more judges so that all cases are dealt with within six months.

18.
The AAP wanted to know whether the municipal corporations of Delhi will support them on these issues.

Reality views by sm –

AAP cannot trust any political party as goals and aims of AAP are different

BJP won more seats thus its responsibility of BJP to form government

IF Delhi again goes for elections then AAP is not responsible for that

AAP should get the affidavit signed from them regarding unconditional support to AAP

Good way to highlight the issues of previous Govt., I think this is the first poll canvassing move by AAP for the next elections, which I think they might win :)
