Full List names of 282 who got funds from Pakistan Secret Fund Expenditure Pakistan Supreme Court orders let the citizens know

Once again, Honorable Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered the Pakistan government to display the secret fund and made public a list of journalists and other persons who received payments of nearly Rs 178 million from the secret fund of the federal Information Ministry.

This is the first time that any such list has come into light as in the past the secret fund of the information ministry was never made public.

Because of the Supreme Court of Pakistan Order details of Rs 1 77,988,450 paid from the secret fund of the Information Ministry to 282 journalists for the year 2011-12 were made public on Monday.

Another list of payments and gifts was expected to be made public later.

List ‘B’ in respect of items on which privilege/secrecy is claimed has also been filed

This list contains 174 items on which a sum of Rs.8,68,13,633/- has been spent.
