IPS Officer Y P Singh Lavasa City connection Ajit Pawar, Supriya Sule and Sharad Pawar

Today Former IPS officer YP Singh alleged money laundering scam, land scam in Lavasa Corporation.

Today in a press conference YP Singh, a former IPS officer of
Maharashtra cadre, alleged that Ajit Pawar, irrigation minister and
nephew of Sharad Pawar, allotted 141 hectares (348 acres) of land
belonging to Maharashtra Krishna Valley Development Corporation on a
renewable lease of 30 years to the Lake City Corporation in 2002, violating
a Supreme Court judgment

Singh said Ajit Pawar gave land for Lavasa hill city project at throwaway price. "Ajit Pawar granted 341 acres to Lake City Corp on 30 years lease for just Rs.23, 000 per month.

In Mumbai, the smallest one bedroom house is not available for that price," he said. Singh said 20.81 per cent shares of Lake City Corp Lavasa belonged to Supriya Sule and her husband Sadanand.

According to Singh, Axis Bank, which invested Rs250 crore in the Lavasa
Corporation Limited in 2008 in the form of convertible preference shares
and convertible debentures, valued the company at Rs 1 0,000 crore.

Sharad Pawar's daughter Supriya Sule, now NCP MP from Baramati,
And her husband Sadanand Sule, according to documents released by Singh, held 20.81% shares in the company.

In 2006, the Sules sold the entire share to the Lavasa Corporation.

YP Singh said that The Sules, if the value of the company is taken into account on the basis of Axis Bank's assessment, must have got around Rs 240 crore from sale of their shares.

It is not reflected in the affidavit Supriya Sule filed detailing her assets before contesting 2009 Lok Sabha elections,"

YP Singh said that Lavasa Corporation was allotted the land at a
monthly rent of Rs 23,000

"Ajit Pawar gave the land to this company virtually free. In 2006, Sule and her husband sold shareholding but at what cost," Singh questioned, stating that Supriya made a huge gain in the land deal.

Now Lavasa Corporation is a subsidiary of Hindustan Construction Company.
