Complete List Cabinet Ministers of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)

Below is a list of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal's cabinet ministers

Leader of Aam Aadmi Party's legislative party and Delhi's Chief Minister designate Arvind Kejriwal today sent the list of party MLAs, to be sworn in as ministers, to the Lt. Governor Shri Najeeb Jung.

First time Arvind Kejriwal will become Chief Minister of Delhi and he will be the seventh chief minister of Delhi

The Kejriwal cabinet is likely to take oath at the Ramlila Maidan on December 26


This list includes:

1.
Manish Sisodia:
Age - 41
He is a well-known activist who came to prominence during the Jan Lokpal agitation.
Manish Sisodia was a prominent journalist and was associated with Zee News and All India Radio for a long time.
He quit journalism to participate in the agitation for Right to Information.
He was a key member of the team that laid the foundation of the Jan Lokpal Andolan.
Sisodia sat on fast for 10 days demanding setting up of an SIT to probe cases against corrupt union ministers.
Sisodia was also sent to Jail with Anna Hazare during anti-graft agitation.
Sisodia routed Nakul Bhardwaj of the BJP by 11,478 votes from Patparganj.

2.
Somnath Bharti:
Age - 39
He defeated two heavyweights - BJP's Arti Mehra and Kiran Walia of Congress - in Malviya Nagar.
He is a post graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology and a lawyer by profession.
When police implicated innocent activists in false cases during protests that broke out after infamous Delhi Gang Rape Case, Shri Bharti contested their case and secured justice for them.
He has been President and Secretary of the IIT Alumni.


3.
Satyendra Kumar Jain:
Age - 49
He is an architect by profession. He was working with the CPWD.
He quit due to prevailing corruption in the department.
Jain actively participated in the Jan Lokpal Satyagrah.
He is a well-known social worker.
He helped Chitrakoot based social organization Drishti, working for visually impaired girls, with construction of organization's building.
He is also associated with social organization Sparsh, which works for mentally challenged children.
He also organizes mass marriages for poor girls.
He won the Shakur Basti seat defeating Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Shyam Lal Garg by 7,062 votes.

4.
Rakhi Birla:
Age - 26
Education -  Masters degree in journalism from the National Broadcasting Academy in Sarojini Nagar in south Delhi.
She was a journalist with a private news channel before joining Aam Aadmi Party.
She has been associated with many social organizations and has been fighting tirelessly for the cause of the Dalits.
She defeated Raj Kumar Chauhan, a minister in the Sheila Dikshit government, from Mangolpuri by 10,585 votes.


5.
Saurabh Bhardwaj:
Age - 34
Education - BTech from Indraprastha University.
He was an engineer by profession.
An incident of rape with a poor minor girl changed his outlook.
He fought a long drawnn legal battle to secure justice for the poor rape survivour.
After his fight for the girl, Bhardwaj became a lawyer to provide legal help to such victims.
He has been fighting for the cause of visually impared, poor students, flood victims and senior citizens.
He defeated Ajay Kumar Malhotra, son of veteran BJP leader V K Malhotra, by 13,092 votes in Greater Kailash.

6.
Girish Soni:
Age - 49
Education -  studied up to Class 12 from the Senior Secondary School, Madipur
Profession - Business
He owns a leather goods business in Madipur,
He is a well crusader for the cause of the Aam Aadmi.
He tirelessly participated in Bijli Pani Andolan of the Aam Aadmi Party.
He defeated BJP's Kailash Sankla by 1,103 votes from the Madipur seat

AAP leader Sanjay Singh told to media that we have decided that no VIP passes will be accepted by the MLAs and their family members for the swearing-in ceremony.
We will sit with the people in Ramlila Maidan,"

AAP leader Yogendra Yadav told to media that the first orders passed by the government would be that no minister will use cars with red beacons or occupy bungalows.
The long-term objective of the AAP is to dismantle VIP culture.
It is only natural that we start with our own people.
We'll encourage others to do the same,"

Media reported that AAP MLA Vinod Kumar Binny became upset in the evening as he was not made minister

Binny had defeated health minister AK Walia in Laxmi Nagar by around 8,000 votes.
He was with the Congress from 2009 to 2011 but left it to join the Jan lokpal movement.

Senior IAS officer Rajendra Kumar may become  principal secretary to Kejriwal.
