The Original Title:
The movie was originally planned and shot under the title Insaan Aur Bhagwan (Human and God). It was changed later to Yehi Hai Zindagi
The play was first made into the Tamil film Kaliyuga Kannan (1974).
Yehi Hai Zindagi is a direct Hindi remake of that Tamil hit.
It was also remade in Telugu as Devudu Digivaste (1975) and in Kannada as Devara Duddu (1977).
Bold Theme: The film openly questioned faith vs. wealth, showing an atheist who gains riches but loses family peace.
