What is the meaning of Windows 10 update installation error code 80240020?

This error means Windows 10 installation folder is unfinished and/or corrupted.
It will not allow you to Upgrade

How to solve fix this error code?

1.
Enable viewing hidden files and folders in the control panel
Go into "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download" and delete everything in that folder

Reboot your computer

3.
Now go to windows update and click on update, manual update and wait it should start downloading your windows update.

4-
If it does not start automatically downloading   then run the command prompt as an administrator.
Type run the command = wuauclt.exe /update now

 Go to your Control Panel > Windows Update and your Windows 10 should start re-downloading from beginning
