Lyrics –
Dev Anand –
Mai Janta hu ek na ek din meri pole khul jayagi
I know that one day people
will know truth about me
Aur mere apne bhi mere jaan ke dushman ho jayaengy
After that my own people
will become my enemies wanting to kill me
Lekin ek baat keh data hu
But I tell you one thing
Chaahe aasamaan toot pade
Even if sky falls
Chaahe dharati phoot jaaye
Even if earthquake comes
Chaahe hasti hi kyon na mit jaaye
Even if I lose my name and
fame or life
Phir bhi main
But then also
Nutan:
Phir bhi main?
But then also
Tere ghar ke saamane
In front of your home
Ek ghar banaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
I will built a home in front
of your home
Duniya basaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
In front of your home I will
create my world
Ek ghar banaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
I will built a home in front
of your home
Ghar ka banaana koi, aasaan kaam nahin
It’s not easy to build a
home
Duniya basaana koi, aasaan kaam nahin
It’s not easy to create
built ones own world
Dil mein vafaayen hon to, toofaan kinaara hai
If there is willingness,
honesty in heart then no storm can stop
Bijali hamaare liye, pyaar ka ishaara hai
Flash of lighting is a
sign of love for us
Tan Mann lutaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
In front of your home I will
sacrifice by body and soul
Duniya basaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
In front of your home I will
create my world
Ek ghar banaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
I will built a home in front
of your home
Kahete hain pyaar jise, dariya hai aag ka
The true love is an ocean
of fire
Ya phir nasha hai koi, jeevan ke raag ka
Or a one type of
intoxication on the path of life
Dil mein jo pyaar ho to, aag bhi phool hai
A heart full of love doesn’t
feel the fire fire becomes flower
Sachchi lagan jo ho to, parbat bhi dhool hai
If there is true honesty
then one can cross any mountain easily,
Taare sajaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
In front of your home I will
put on stars, lights everywhere
Duniya basaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
In front of your home I will
create my world
Ek ghar banaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
I will built a home in front
of your home
Kaanton bhare hain lekin, chaahat ke raaste
The path of love is full
of thorns
Tum kya karoge dekhen, ulafat ke vaaste
Let’s see what you will do
for love
Ulafat me taaj chhoote, ye bhi tumhen yaad hoga
In love people lost
kingdom you must be knowing this
Ulafat me taaj bane, ye bhi tumhen yaad hoga
In love people built a
kingdom you must be knowing this also
Mein bhi kuchh banaaunga
I will also built
something
hoon
Tere ghar ke saamane
In front of your home
Dekhen
Let’s see
Duniya basaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
In front of your home I will
create my world
Ek ghar banaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
I will built a home in front
of your home
Duniya basaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
In front of your home I will
create my world
Ek ghar banaaunga, tere ghar ke saamane
I will built a home in front
of your home

A "tururak" song. S D Burman.
ReplyDeleteSDBurman had a great orchestra and was great in harmony with them. But RDBurman was more of an original thinker and lost the support of his musicians over a period of time. I read in his biography that he was on look out for synthesiser players who would assist him. Louis Banks helped him out, I think. But the truth is Manohari Singh managed the orchestra more or less while RDBurman was into creative stuff.
Subhash Ghai ditched RDB for the seasoned LP for "Hero". RDB was hurt. And went into a depression. He could not come out of it fully.
The lesson for all of us is the importance of seamless coordination. Orchestra is not about individuality. The whole team matters.
"Tere Ghar Ke Saamne ik ghar banaoonga" is important lyrics. But orchestration had made it possible.
Lovely song, it was nice to read translation while listening the song...I listened it twice. Thanks for sharing this song.
