Today many media channels are showing on television news that Dr. Zakir Naik is heading back to India from Malaysia

Dr. Zakir Naik is wanted in India , few media reports even said that Dr. Zakir Naik will be extradited from Malaysia and he will be brought back to India.

Is it true that Dr. Zakir Naik is coming to India today?
No. It is a false News that Dr. Zakir Naik is coming to India today.
there is no truth in the report that Zakir Naik was being sent back to India.

In a statement issued, Dr. Zakir Naik said: “The news of my coming to India is totally baseless and false. I have no plans to come to India till I don’t feel safe from unfair prosecution. Insha Allah when I feel that the government will be just and fair, I will surely return to my homeland.”

NIA told to media that they have no information about Naik returning to India today. “We have no information about this. We are verifying the news reports,”

 Interpol rejected the Red Corner Notice on the ground that when the request was sent by NIA through CBI, there was no chargesheet filed in any court in India against Dr. Zakir Naik.

The decision to reject India's request was taken by the Interpol's Commission in its 102nd session held in October 2017 and data on Naik was deleted from its database on November 9.
The Interpol contended that there was a severe lack of evidentiary basis, a failure by Indian authorities to follow due process of law, political and religious bias that formed the basis of such a notice, and lack of international interest.
Interpol rejected India's request of a Red Corner Notice against Dr Zakir Naik and has also deleted all data on the Islamic preacher Dr. Zakir Naik
