BJP government has made mandatory to link mobile number with Aadhaar number but still case is going on in Supreme Court of India which will 99% cancel the compulsory linking of Aadhaar number with mobile sim number.

February 6, 2017 is the deadline to link Aadhaar number with mobile sim number after that mobile connection may get deactivated depends on the policy of government.

If Supreme Court of India does not cancel compulsory linking of Aadhaar number with mobile sim number, then government may again cancel the OTP service and everyone will need to stand in a line to link the mobile number with Aadhaar.

From December 1,2017 you need not have to visit the store of your telecom provider to link your 12-digit Aadhaar with mobile SIM.

The Unique Identification Authority of India has approved the blueprint presented by telcos to operationalize new modes like OTP for Aadhaar-based SIM re-verification of existing subscribers from December 1.

How to link Aadhaar number with mobile SIM?
Below is the process

1-subscribers can go to the mobile phone company’s portal and give their mobile number and Aadhaar number and then the OTP will come on the registered mobile number

2- every operator will publicize TVRS number and on that number people will  have to key in their Aadhaar and their mobile number, and the OTP will come and they will have to enter to re-verify.
