BJP Rajasthan Goverment  passes ordinance giving protection to babus from investigation

BJP government, The Vasundhara Raje government has passed ordinance that seeks to protect Babus from investigation.
The ordinance provides six months’ immunity to protect public servants from being investigated for on duty action without Rajasthan governments prior permission, sanction.

The Criminal Laws (Rajasthan Amendment) Ordinance, 2017, promulgated on September 7, also seeks to bar the media from reporting on accusations till the sanction to proceed with the probe is obtained.

The ordinance amends the Criminal Code of Procedure, 1973 and seeks curb on publishing and printing or publicizing in any case the name, address, photograph, family details of the public servants.

Violating the clause would call for two years’ imprisonment.

“No magistrate shall order an investigation nor will any investigation be conducted against a person, who is or was a judge or a magistrate or a public servant,” reads the ordinance which provides 180 days’ immunity to the officers.

What will happen because of ordinance?
The corrupt government babus servants will feel empowered, corrupt babus will do corrupt freely, happily without any fear.

I do not know the truth but many people say that 99% corruption money from government babus goes to corrupt politicians.

Hope someone will file a PIL in High Court and I am sure ordinance will get cancelled by High Court or Supreme Court.
