RIP Bollywood Marathi Actress Reema Lagoo dies
Bollywood and TV Actress Reema Lagoo died of a cardiac arrest in Mumbai at 3.30 am this morning. She was 59.
She performed on Marathi Stage, worked in many super hit Bollywood movies.
Reema Lagoo is survived by her daughter Mrunmayee, also an actress.
She played the role of mother for following heroes in super hit movies
1-she played Salman's mother in Maine Pyar Kiya, Saajan and Hum Saath Saath Hain,
2-Akshay's mother in Jai Kishen,
3-Kajol's in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,
4-Madhuri Dixit's in Hum Aapke Hain Koun.
5-Sanjay Dutt's mother in Vaastav, in which her character kills her gangster son
Her last movie appearance was in the super hit Marathi film Katyar Kaljat Ghusali.

She was a good actress. Had watched her in movies and serials. I thought Shabana's brother's wife Tanvi Azmi was her daughter. Maybe she resembles Reema!
I liked her mvery much, She was Rahul Roy's mother in Ashiqui..she was so real mother, not like older version of filmi weepy ones.
