National Herald Scam Case Sonia and Rahul Gandhi Get Bail


In the National Herald Case Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi appeared before the court.
Congress president Sonia Gandhi and party Vice President Rahul Gandhi got bail bail on personal bonds of Rs 50,000 each in connection, without any condition, at 3:10 pm on Sunday, in a Delhi court

Four others accused in the case Motilal Vora, Oscar Fernandes, Sam Pitroda and Suman Dubey - accused in the case have also been granted bail.

As per media reports Priyanka Gandhi signed bond appeal for Rahul Gandhi.
AK Antony signed bail bond for Sonia Gandhi.

Swamy, whose request for an exemption on the movements of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi was rejected by the court.
Sr. Advocate Kapil Sibal, said “the court refused to entertain Swami’s plea to impose restrictions on the passports of Sonia and Rahul”.
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said “When Sonia and Rahul Gandhi came they were made to stand in a corner where the accused are supposed to be, they were not allowed to sit,”

Next hearing will be on 20th February, 2016 at 2 pm.
