RIP Venezuela President Hugo Chavez Dies
Venezuela's President, Hugo Chavez, has died aged 58 after battling cancer for nearly two years
The news came in an official announcement on state television by Vice-President Nicolas Maduro
He had undergone four operations in Cuba for a cancer that was first detected in his pelvic region in mid-2011.
On December 11 Doctors performed his last surgery.
Chavez won a new 6-year term at an election in October.
