Video Miranda Ferguson, 16-Year-Old Cheerleader, Sets World Record For Flipping

A 16-year-old Texan high school cheerleader has broken the Guinness World Record for backward handsprings.

Miranda Ferguson of Hockaday School, Dallas, completed 35 consecutive backward springs, beating the previous record of 32.

Two Guinness Book of World Records officials stood by to witness and keep count as Ferguson back flipped her way from one 15-yard line on the field to the other.
