UP Ex CM Mayawati government spent more than Rs. 121 Crore on Advertisement
India-
Uttar Pradesh –

In 5 years period Ex CM Mayawati Government [BSP] Government] spent more than Rs. 121 Crore on decorative advertisements.

In Year 2007-08 over Rs. 13 Crore was spent on advertisements

In year 2008-09 over Rs. 20 Crore was spent on advertisements

In year 2009-10 over Rs. 17 Crore was spent on advertisements

In year 2010-11 Rs. 33 Crore was spent on advertisements

In year 2011-12 Rs. 37 Crore was spent on advertisements

Before criticizing Ex CM Mayawati we must know that its legal and thus they spend the money.

State and Central government both spent the money on advertisement when Indian government does not have money for the subsidy of common man.

Remember every Indian citizen is the owner of money saved by government.

Thus we need to bring and introduce new amendment in the constitution of India.

Suggested Reform –

No state government or central government will spend the money on advertisement if they want to advertise they will need to take the permission of the Supreme Court of India and will have to prove in the Court that  the advertisement is require  for the education of citizens and not the marketing of a political party.

OR second reform is No Advertisement of any kind; if the work is good media will show it there is no need to advertise government performance.
