Politicians say it is the demand of local people,
I do not know its demand of local people or not
but I know that as a politician if you are failed and if you cannot do anything and want to show to the citizens you [ politician is doing something ] are doing something this is the best idea to waste money and time of Indian citizens and show you are doing something for India , simple idea is change the name of city or change the name of airport etc.

Change of Name is a sign of failure of politicians and its sign that you have voted for wrong politician and party.
